Historia del icono Carpeta de internet
That time before the internet seems such a blur. What did we do with our time? Read books? Talk to each other? Make friends in real life? Sounds like a handful. Since the day we heard that strange noise as we cranked up our dial-up internet, life as we know it was forever changed. We bid goodbye to things we realized we didn’t even need in the first place, like music stores, movie rental shops, handwritten letters, and solitaire—to even more useless stuff like our memory, punctuality, and privacy.
We can thank some white men named Vinton Cerf and Robert Kahn who jumpstarted the loss of our free time. They are also probably the guys who invented short attention span. They definitely made our lives much easier. No more money shelled out for books, games, music, and movies. But seriously, props to Vint and Robert. Solid work on this internet thing.
The icons we usually see signifying the internet is the globe, and we have several versions of it.
