Historia del icono Carrito de compras
The thrill of filling up an online shopping cart with items you can’t buy is unparalleled. As you enter the store with an open mind, the possibilities are endless. Finally, you could be that fantasy person who takes stuff off the shelves without even glancing at the price tag. As far as you’re concerned, that fake shopping cart knows no bounds. You click on a product page and the world becomes your oyster. You click “Add to Cart” as many times as a Kardashian probably does. By the end of your fake shopping journey, you’ve virtually wiped the shelves clean. Upon checkout, the amount of items in your cart can already feed a neighbourhood or a nation, give or take.
The first real life shopping cart or trolley
is the brainchild of Sylvan Goldman in 1973. It didn’t catch on at first since men found them “effeminate” and women were reminded of a baby
carriage. The solution was to put models in the store demonstrating how to use the product. We can guess at this point that Sylvan is now a multimillionaire—the person
who doesn’t look at price tags and just shoves items in the cart.
